industry and its fans, many of whom are concerned with the fate of our public
lands, air and water. We act as advocates to ensure the existence of a sustainable
and healthy environment for all.
Further, we aim to represent those individuals
and communities whose environment or natural surroundings are directly and adversely
affected by the actions of others. Rock the Earth, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit,
national public interest environmental advocacy organization, is committed to
protecting and defending America's natural resources through partnerships
with the music industry and the world-wide environmental community.
Rock the Earth is dedicated to bringing
about positive and beneficial environmental consequences on behalf of members
of the music industry through the means of active litigation and negotiation.

RtE Moves to Protect NE National Park Units |

 On March 12, Rock the Earth joined with other
advocacy groups to oppose plans to greatly expand powerline corridors
that would directly impact the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation
Area and the Appalachian National Scenic Trail in Pennsylvania and New

ASCAP Rock the Earth Day Phone Drive |

 Music’s leading performance rights organization, ASCAP
(American Society Composers, Authors & Publishers) is the latest group to
partner with Rock the Earth to launch a Mobile Phone Recycling Drive. This
year’s ASCAP Expo starts on Earth Day (April 22) and they wanted to do something
to call attention to our ongoing phone recycling initiative. Participants can
win a free pass to this year’s Expo, a One-on-One artist session, New Release CD
