| Eric Daniels |
Eric Daniels is a member of the Legal & Technical
Committee for Rock the Earth. He is also a Senior Hydrogeologist
in a petroleum energy technology company, where he has worked
for 13 years. He provides consultation on how to best perform
site assessments and remediate groundwater and soil contamination
problems at petroleum marketing, chemical, refining, and oilfield
operation facilities throughout the United States and other countries.
His specialties include rock and fluid geochemistry applications
to oilfield production and site remediation, soil and rock mineralogy,
laboratory testing and analysis, rock-fluid geochemical reaction
experimental design, and understanding contaminant fate and transport
processes that impact recovery and remediation of hydrocarbon,
metals, and solvents contamination. Eric has M.S. and Ph.D. degrees
in Geology from the University of Illinois, and a B.S. degree
from the State University of New York at Binghamton, NY. He is
a member of the National Groundwater Association and of the Clay
Minerals Society.
