| Bob Hollis is a member of the Rock the Earth Advisory
Board and President and CEO of Carnegie Partners, Inc. Carnegie
Partners is a national executive search and consulting firm with
specializations in the recycling industry, environmental engineering,
and land management.
Bob is a Founder and Executive Committee member of The Mark
Vann Foundation, Volunteer Community Liaison for The Rex Foundation,
a member of the Associate Board of Directors for the Union League
Club of Chicago Boys and Girls Clubs of America, President of
The Sigma Alpha Epsilon Sacramento Area Alumni Association,
a founding member and multi-committee member of the California
Sustainable Business Council, a member of the Global Recycling
Council, and past President of both the Sigma Alpha Epsilon
and Carnegie Mellon University Chicago Area Alumni Associations.
He currently serves as Board Member, Secretary, and Chairperson
of the Communications and Development Committees for the California
Resource Recovery Association, the largest and oldest recycling
association in the United States, and as a Board Member for
Conservation Value. In 2004 Mr. Hollis was the State of California
Coordinator for America Recycles Day, and served as the Summer
Tour Coordinator for HeadCount, a non-profit organization working
with the music industry to register more than 50,000 new voters
nationwide.
Bob provides pro-bono web hosting services and web site development
for numerous non-profit organizations focused on environmental
issues, community activism and animal welfare, and is the host
of recyclingtech.org, a web site devoted to the advancement
of technology in the recycling industry that is receiving attention
from government and industry in the United States and Europe.
On November 2, 2004, Mr. Hollis was elected to a non-partisan
public office in El Dorado County, California winning support
from more than 80% of the voting public in his district. In
his capacity as CSD Board President he is responsible for oversight
and management of public services including roads, parks and
recreation, protected wetlands, architectural control and open
space. Bob has a BS in Industrial Management with a concentration
in Marketing from Carnegie Mellon University and a graduate
business and liberal arts education from the University of Chicago.
